On 9 March 2026, Nscale announced a $2 billion Series C funding round — the largest AI infrastructure raise in European history. Led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries, the round values the company at $14.6 billion.
Nscale is a UK-based hyperscaler purpose-built for AI infrastructure. From bare-metal GPU compute to managed inference endpoints and fine-tuning workflows, Nscale builds the computational backbone the AI era runs on.

A European Base, a Global Ambition
Founded in the UK with data centers across Europe, Nscale has now fully absorbed its joint venture with Norway's Aker — which included a partnership with OpenAI under the Stargate Norway initiative. Aker remains a major shareholder.
